Benny B Sanchez, beloved husband of Rosemary Teran. Oakdale residents since 2001. Benny was born on April 30, 1938 in San Leandro, CA. He had a passion and love for life and all of its beauty. He spent 22 years with his Rosemary and often told her she was his artery. Benny had a heart transplant on August 1, 2004 at Stanford, so he was immunosuppressive. He was exposed to COVID and died from complications on January 26, 2022.
Benny is survived by his wife, Rosemary, son Benny Sanchez and his family, daughter Kathy Tehan and her family, three sisters, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many, many friends. He is also survived by Jaime Teran and family, Yvette Rupp and family, Lupe, Rosemary’s brother and sister and all of her relatives and friends. He was loved and respected by everyone. He was a great man. He was happy, kind and very loving. He loved music and DJ’d for 40+ years. He loved to dance. He loved bowling. He also loved planes. We will miss seeing his beautiful blue eyes and hearing his laughter.
