Dr. Barbara C. Painter, 90, died Saturday, October 12.

She was a resident of Oakdale.

Dr. Painter will always be appreciated for the great trail she followed in her life. To say goodbye to her family, friends and people she knew, she wrote them a special poem.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Phyllis Osterhout Memorial Scholarship - In Memory of Barbara Painter, and sent to The Department of Music, CSU Stanislaus, 1 University Circle, Turlock, CA 95382.

Services have been held.

Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson in charge of arrangements.
