Lifetime friends are made at Valley Home School...For our eighth grade students tonight’s graduation ceremony will bring to a close life as a student at this over 100-year-old school. For our graduates this will be a turning point in their young lives. At Valley Home School teacher and staff alike wrapped their arms around each and every student. Individual needs, the best education possible, and motivating students to be the very best they could be has been the priority of each teacher and staff member at Valley Home. Tonight when the music begins the graduates will file in, proud parents will silently wipe a tear from their eye, teachers and staff will look on with affection and pride as they see those who could yesterday barely sit still in class, are tonight dressed in their best and ready for the challenges and excitement of a lifetime just beginning! As this evening draws to a close, classmates will share hugs, laughter, and stories of treasured friendships that will forever be tied to the memories of this wonderful school. We wish the very best to our Valley Home graduates, “The world is yours to conquer, Class of 2014!”
Along with all the excitement of the last week of school, we look back at the many activities that have been happening over these last few weeks. Our kindergarten, first grade, and second grade took a wonderfully educational field trip to the Children’s Discovery Museum in San Jose. Our eighth graders journeyed to Sacramento to visit our State Capitol and back at school classroom spelling bees were held with the winners going on to the “big spelling bee.” Our Valley Home students of the month were named. Congratulations to Luis Soto, Jason Lignowski, Victoria Ramirez, Oscar Olvera, Abigail Garcia, and Cody Bartholomew. These are just a few of the wonderful experiences our children have had over the last few weeks. We look forward to next year...a year sure to be filled with many exciting educational adventures! Go Valley Home!
