If anyone has any information they would like to share please give me a call at 209-985-5233. If anyone would like to write this column (Laura’s column) occasionally please call me, Winnie, at the number mentioned. It is important to share the events and happenings in our community and also to honor Laura’s hard work of 38 years! Again we offer a special thank you to Laura.

At our MAC meeting this past Wednesday, it was discussed and decided to hold a “Love Valley Home Day.” Valley Home School Superintendent Rolanda Des Rosiers-Lewis will chair this exciting event. More information will be coming.

Our best wishes to CHP Officer Chuck Leon’s family for speedy recoveries. A big thank you to Officer Chuck for coming to the MAC meeting even though his whole family was a bit under the weather from the flu.

We also learned that Glenn Burghardt and Don Taro will be taking care of the watering at the Valley Home Park during this drought.

Tyler Furtado and dad Tony enjoyed some special time with grandpa while watching the game between the 49ers and Seahawks this past Sunday. What a great way to spend the day!

We are all wondering who the handsome man in the beautiful new white pickup could be. Could it be super Grandpa Russ Carpenter?
