Valley Home News for February 6, 2013

Where did all the neighbors go? Unbelievably, our Valley Home community was turned into a ghost town this past weekend, nary a soul could be found and our normally busy streets were empty of traffic. There is an old adage that “no news is good news,” however I beg to differ! Our normally busy streets were devoid of traffic, where did everyone disappear to? Our normally busy little community was bereft of even a lone car traversing our roads. Where did all our townspeople go? The mystery was solved however, your reporter had simply forgotten that Sunday was “Super Bowl Sunday” and time had apparently stopped as everyone in our Valley Home community had forsaken the great outdoors and beautiful sunny weather, and had simply settled into a comfortable chair and sat back to watch the game. Hopefully, everyone will have recovered from the exciting game and activities will resume in time for next week’s column.
