It’s here, Super Bowl excitement has arrived in Valley Home! Although both teams come from locations far from Valley Home, by now most of us have chosen the team we will root for on Sunday! It’s sure to be tons of fun on Super Bowl day. Grandson Cooper will have the party scene decorated for Team Manning, while big brother Cody will make sure Team Newton is well represented. Granddaughter Millie will help mom Melissa with party food preparations, while our other granddaughter Jenna will have plenty of Super Bowl treats. I would like to take this time to thank each of you who continue to keep Jenna in your prayers as she recovers from surgery. So as Super Bowl Sunday approaches, we count our blessings and look forward to great fun! May each of your homes be filled with fun, laughter, good food and much merriment on this Super Bowl 50 Sunday!

A bit of irony...with Jenna unable to attend this past week’s San Jose Sharks game, and since it was Aunt Beci’s birthday week, Jenna graciously sent the tickets to Beci and Brian for them to use. It turned out to be a great game, Sharks won and Beci and Brian met one of Jenna’s favorite players, Marc-Eduard Vlasic, after the game, great memories! I am pretty sure as soon as Jenna is up and about she will be back to see the Sharks. Feel better soon, Jenna!
