This past week Collin French got to experience a huge night with the San Francisco Giants! Collin, who as many of you know has been diagnosed with leukemia, was invited to ‘Open’ the Giants baseball game, what an exciting night for this amazing young man! Collin, who is the son of firefighter Adam French, was strong in his delivery, “Play Ball!” Collin’s mom Kim and dad Adam greatly enjoyed this very special evening out as a family together! Collin, you are a great inspiration to so many, stay strong! Go San Francisco Giants! Go Collin!

We would like to send a big thank you to Cher Bairos and the Oakdale Enrichment Society! Words cannot begin to describe the feeling of patriotism that was evident during last Saturday’s 4th of July celebration. Folks lined the sidewalks early to watch the first ever 4th of July Parade in downtown Oakdale! Excited we watched as O.P.D. rounded the corner, leading the way, red, white, and blue lights flashing we caught our first glimpse of how truly patriotic this inaugural parade would be! Even though we live in beautiful Valley Home, we felt we were a part of this small town old fashioned red, white, and blue parade. It was like a breath of fresh air in the world we are living, Oakdale, California is a town still rich in Americana, full of patriotism, we trust in God and appreciate our neighbors and our fellow man! God Bless America, Happy 4th of July to each of you!
