With fire season upon us, it is a constant reminder that fire service is so important to our communities and all throughout our state! Please consider attending one or all of our Oakdale Fire Protection District’s Board meetings and workshops. The next meeting date will be coming soon. Although I was unable to attend the last meeting, Dolly Haskell shared that the workshops are very productive! With many great ideas being discussed and many positive steps moving forward, it is exciting to see how we can support our fire department!

Our July MAC meeting has been cancelled. Normally we would be discussing plans for our August “National Night Out Celebration” in Valley Home. We will have a huge celebration next year! We will miss visiting with each of you, and enjoying your delicious potluck foods! Our Valley Home National Night Out Celebration is always so much fun. Neighbors coming together with law enforcement, our fire department, and county officials, it’s always a very special night!
