So much excitement coming to our area this month! On Saturday June 26th, the Oakdale Enrichment Society will bring the most wonderful celebration to our entire area … The 150th Oakdale Birthday Celebration! Valley Home is very proud to be a part of this great event. Our Valley Home parade entry is “Americana” and will feature life in rural America during years gone by  We will pay tribute to a hard working rural way of life ... You are all invited to be a part of this very special salute. God Bless America! Although we live in beautiful Valley Home, we are honored to be a part of this amazing celebration. We are grateful to the Oakdale Enrichment Society and to all who are making this exciting tribute to Oakdale possible. This is going to be a tremendous celebration! Several days of fun family activities, including the Parade will lead up to an evening of dazzling fireworks and an incredible concert with country music superstar David Lee Murphy! Our Oakdale Rodeo Grounds will be home to an amazing evening on June 26th! On Saturday morning, June 26th at 10am the parade will roll through Oakdale; the spirit of July 4th and the huge Birthday Celebration will be enjoyed by all. Americana at its best in Oakdale, California!

I would also like to remind everyone of another very important event! Although still a few months away, our “Relay For Life of Greater Stanislaus County” will be held on October 9 and 10th! This exciting event will take place at John Thurman Field in Modesto. All are encouraged to be a part of this very important cause. Over the next few months many smaller events will be held to raise funds for research; let’s all come together again on the weekend of October 9 and 10th in Modesto for this very important event!
