We hope you come out this Saturday and enjoy Christmas in Valley Home! The community sponsored Christmas parade will usher in the evening’s traditional tree lighting and community Christmas Potluck Dinner! Everyone is invited to enter a safe, ‘lighted’ entry and show up between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm to get in line for the parade. You do not need to fill out an entry form ... Just show up and be a part of this small town Christmas celebration. All entries should be lighted and the parade will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Best viewing will be in front of the old school on Texas Avenue, this is also where the parade will start! The parade usually circles the block a total of two or three times. Immediately following the parade please gather in front of the little community Christmas tree at the park. Our 4-Hers Callie Chrisman, Jessica Hatfield, and Laci Blount will lead everyone in a Christmas Carol and our beautiful little Christmas tree will glisten and sparkle as it comes to life! After the tree lighting our school gym doors will open to welcome everyone inside. Please bring a favorite potluck dish to share with the community. Our 4-Hers will provide turkey, ham, Christmas refreshments, plates, silverware, and hot toasty dinner rolls. You are invited to visit with Santa during dinner in Santa Land! This is a very special evening in our community ... Please come and visit with friends old and new. We look forward to seeing you!
