For those of you who pass by Victory Avenue and Lone Tree Road, there is the most amazing sign of hope. Red solo cups spell out the word “HOPE” on the fence in large letters for all to see! We are thankful for this inspiring message!

Remember, this coming Tuesday May 5th is Election Day! It is very important to pass Measure Q. If passed, this measure would bring much needed support to our Fire Department. Be sure to mark your ballot and mail it in now since this is a vote by mail only ballot! I have tremendous respect for however each of you choose to vote. My personal opinion is that it is well worth the small tax increase to save lives. None of us think we are going to need to make that call, but believe me, it is unexpected and can come on the most sunny vibrant day! It is a desperate call when it’s your child, your spouse, a friend, or a neighbor, please believe me the price is small when our fire department answers the call, the relief you feel when they are arriving is indescribable. I hope each of you will consider voting ‘Yes’ on this important measure. God Bless our firefighters and keep them safe during these trying times!
