This week’s column is dedicated to a very brave young man! Collin French was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Collin has been undergoing treatment at Children’s Hospital in Madera. He is a great fisherman and loves being outdoors, especially on a creek bank! His mom Kim and dad Adam are with Collin and would deeply appreciate your prayers. Collin’s dad Fire Captain Adam French has touched many of our lives, his kindness and caring along with his knowledge and training has made a difference in so many of our lives over the years. Now our communities have an opportunity to give back to this very special family. On Wednesday, May 1st, a dinner along with a silent auction and raffle will be held at Oakdale Golf Country Club. The event is open to the public with tickets and information available by calling Robbie Fouts at 209-614-8366 or Nicole Vejar at 209-872-1629. There will be live music, a putting contest, and a no host bar. Tickets are $25 each with proceeds going to the French Family. The country club is located at 243 Stearns Road in Oakdale. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Let’s all support Collin on the road to recovery!
