Congratulations to Valley Home 4-Hers Callie Chrisman and Benjamin Fletcher! These two amazing 4-Hers both earned Gold at County Presentation Day for Public Speaking. Benjamin spoke on cattle diseases and Callie spoke on 22q chromosome disorder. Both Callie and Benjamin wish to say “Thank You” to their 4-H leader and coach, Mrs. Diane Hoagland. Congratulations on a job well done!

Also congratulations to our Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. This past week fourteen academy cadets graduated and were sworn in as Deputy Sheriffs. We send congratulations to each of our new Deputies. We sincerely appreciate our Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department!

An exciting week at our Valley Home School. Our fourth and fifth graders are heading to Asilomar! This is such a fun and educational trip for our students!

Also on Thursday, our students will be enjoying class Valentine parties! All classes will be released at 12:30 on a minimum day schedule. Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

Everyone is invited to come out and support our Valley Home Hawks on Friday, Feb. 15. Our basketball teams will be playing Paradise School at Valley Home! Go Hawks!

Next Monday is George Washington’s birthday observance. Students will enjoy the day off from school.

An important message to those of you who have children ready to enter kindergarten or transitional kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year! Please contact Valley Home School office at 847-0117. All kindergarten students must turn five years old by December 2, 2019. Looking forward to a wonderful 2019-2020 school year!
