Excitement tonight as our own Stanislaus County Sheriff K-9 Kuma and Deputy Victorino will compete on the TV show “Top Dog”. The show is on A & E channel!

Tonight, Wednesday, February 12th, the Oakdale Relay For Life will be holding a meeting to share information on the May 2-3rd overnight event. This is such an important fundraiser which supports those in the fight against cancer. Get your team together for this amazing event!

Tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th there will be an Oakdale Fire Protection District meeting at our Valley Home Fire Station. All are welcome. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m.

Our Valley Home students enjoyed a holiday from school last Monday and will enjoy another holiday this coming Monday, Presidents Day!

On Tuesday, February 11th our Valley Home 4-Hers held their annual Box Social. It was a wonderful evening filled with sweet treats and amazing auction items! The 4-Hers would like to say “Thank You” to all who came and supported them at the Box Social, you are very much appreciated! We send a very special thank you to Travis Johnson of Western Prime Livestock & Auction Co.

Everyone is invited to come and support our Valley Home School Hawks Basketball teams on Friday, February 21st. They will be playing Shiloh School at Valley Home.

February 19th will be Lifetouch Spring Picture Day for all students at Valley Home School.

Also on February 19th, Oakdale High School counselors will visit Valley Home 8th grade students.

On Thursday, February 20th, Oakdale High School will host “8th Grade Parent Night” in the main gym at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, February 28th will be Kindergarten registration at Valley Home School. You will need to bring a County Certified birth certificate, child’s immunization records, dental check-up, proof of residence and photo ID or some other valid identification of parent or legal guardian. Any questions you may call 209-847-0117. Child must be 5 years of age by September 1, 2020.
