Wow! Can you believe we are already in October? Time seems to be just flying by. With that thought in mind, it is time to remind you of all the fun that awaits you at Valley Home School this month. The annual Fall Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, October 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is a super fun evening with something for everyone! The evening will begin with a delightful array of items available at the silent auction tables. Again, something for everyone. What fun! Precisely at 5:45 p.m. the costume contest will be held, wear your favorite costume; everyone will receive a fun prize. At 6 p.m. enter the pie eating contest or watch as whip cream and laughter takes center stage! At 6:15 p.m. the milk challenge begins, contestants will drink a cold glass of milk as fast as they can! At 6:30 p.m. the crowd will gather to watch an exciting K-9 demonstration featuring K-9 Officer “Dutch.” Officer Dutch is a high powered, well trained, K-9 Officer in the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. We are looking forward to watching the action! During the evening you can enter a carved pumpkin, and decorated pumpkin (must be carved and decorated at home) and win a great prize. Bring your biggest pumpkin and enter the giant pumpkin contest. An obstacle course, speed pitch, Bingo, cake walk, balloons, dummy roping, Bug Toss, Duck Pond, pumpkin roll, Nascar game, Quack Attack, Shark Toss, and so many more fun games await you! The smell of delicious tri-tip, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, sno cones, and cotton candy will fill the night air and offer tasty treats to all. More Valley Home Harvest Festival details next week!
