National Night Out ... hope everyone is making plans to come to our community park this Tuesday, August 2nd!! This is an important night for all communities across the country! In Valley Home folks come out of their homes and enjoy an evening of friendship, while sending the message that crime is not welcome in our very special community! Usually the fire and law enforcement are at the park and always visit and have a nice time with everyone. The evening will start at 6:00pm. Everyone is invited to bring a favorite dish if they wish ... there will be delicious fried chicken, potatoes, hot dogs, cold drinks, salad, cookies, plates, and silverware provided at the park. Horseshoes will be available for those that wish to play ... coloring books, bubbles, and fun games for the younger crowd! We greatly appreciate our fire and law enforcement, this is the perfect time for each of us to say “Thank you!” Please come out this Tuesday evening ... Visit with old friends while getting to know new friends. Hope to see you there!

Important: Next weekend Saturday, August 6th is our Valley Home School work day. Please come and help spruce our school up for opening day August 10th! If you have available tools, please bring them. There will be a list of jobs for you to choose from. Our community is well known for taking care of each other and especially our kids at our Valley Home School ... Go Hawks! What a great school and a great staff we have at Valley Home. Let’s meet together at 8:00am on Saturday, August 6th to support our Valley Home School!

High up in the Sierra Mountains at beautiful Dardanelle Resort much is going on! Good times were everywhere as the Dardanelle crowd celebrated Chuck Fleischer’s birthday. We were glad to hear of such a tremendous celebration for such a great guy. Happy Birthday Chuck ... many, many happy returns of your special day!

Starting off the month of August we have two very important birthdays in Valley Home. On Monday August 1st Miss Halley Rose Smith will celebrate her big day. On Tuesday August 2nd Mr. Tim Hoover will celebrate a special birthday. Let’s just say he will not be 49 years old anymore!
