Valley Home News 11-25-20
Winnie Mullins

On Saturday evening November 21, our Valley Home Community came together quickly for an early Christmas Parade to honor our precious Bonnie Gellerman! With only one day’s notice, Bonnie’s beloved community came together and put on a beautiful tribute to this amazing woman. Hundreds of vehicles lined Bonnie’s road, bringing with them toys to be given out at Christmas time in Bonnie’s honor. We are grateful to the California Highway Patrol for keeping our parade safe and helping us honor our beautiful Bonnie! At dusk with Christmas lights glistening in the cool night air, Bonnie’s school bus stopped one final time at Bonnie’s driveway. Her bus, lights flashing, paid a silent tribute to this woman who had given a lifetime of love to all who knew her. With Bonnie’s family looking on, and with our sweet Bonnie resting in her home, Bonnie’s Valley Home Community paid a loving tribute to this very special bus driver. Cars lined up for over a mile to honor our kind, caring Bonnie. Later that night, Heaven gained a new precious angel; our beautiful Bonnie is no longer in pain. She will be loved forever.

A message from Bonnie's Family ...

On behalf of Bonnie’s entire family, we want to thank the Valley Home Community from the bottom of our hearts. Mom was honored to be such a loved member of the community. She will live on in the hearts of everyone she knew and loved. She would ask that you always be kind and dance for her. We will grant her wishes with a grand celebration of life once it’s safe to gather again.

With love, her children and family.
