Please join us ... This coming Sunday, October 11th, Mr. Tom Price will be leading us in prayer at our Valley Home Community Park for our much loved Bonnie! We will need to practice social distancing protocol ... it will be a short few minutes but will be a powerful uplifting prayer for the complete healing of Bonnie! Due to COVID, Bonnie is not able to have visitors or contact with folks at this time ... she sends a message to each of you ... she loves each of you very much and deeply appreciates your prayers and messages of hope and healing for her!

Tomorrow, Thursday October 8th our Fire Department will be holding their monthly board meeting. The regular meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. Before the Board meeting there will be a Board workshop at 5:00 p.m. The meetings will both be held at our Valley Home Fire Station, 13200 Valley Home Road. Social distancing protocol will be in place. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is always much information shared. We are so grateful to our firefighters and deeply appreciate each and every one of them! Every day they put their lives on the line for us.

Our Community Fall Harvest Scarecrow contest addresses will be listed in next week’s column and on the Valley Home Bulletin Board on Facebook. Our Valley Home 4-Hers will be announcing the winners at our Valley Home MAC meeting on Wednesday, October 14th. The MAC meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and be held in the school gym. Delicious Fall Harvest refreshments will be served! All are welcome to attend. There is always much information shared. Your questions, concerns and opinions are important. Stanislaus County officials, our Fire Department, our Valley Home School Superintendent, our Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, the California Highway Patrol and our Valley Home 4-Hers will share information. There will also be other community information shared. It is always a great evening. Please join us on October 14th!
