This week we wish a Happy Anniversary to a very special couple. Steve Guerrero and his lovely wife Lisa were married on October 16, 2016. Lisa and Steve have a beautiful ranch here in Valley Home and are both very active in our Valley Home community. Thank you both for all you do for Valley Home. Happy Anniversary, may you enjoy many, many happy years ahead.

With our Valley Home Fall Festival only a week and a few days away, we will be sharing lots of information with you. I really hope you can all come and enjoy our Fall Harvest Celebration. I truly love the sights and sounds of our harvest season. We live in such a beautiful place; the fall harvest is one of the most special times of the year. On Saturday, October 28th from 6pm to 9pm we will celebrate this amazing season.

Valley Home School will once again be the site of this very special fall celebration. Hay bales, scarecrows, cornstalks, a delightful pumpkin patch and rustic fall colors will bid you welcome. Enjoy delicious food and fun while a beautiful bright Harvest Hunter moon lights up the night sky!

There will be something for everybody. You are welcome to bring your comfy chair, or sit on a hay bale, and relax while having a delicious dinner with friends and family. Have fun while watching the cowboy ranch roping, or get in on the action … all are welcome. You can also enjoy a delicious slice of homemade pie. Remember, there will be delicious warm fall drinks, and tall, cool sparkling drinks for your pleasure. Take a turn playing colorful carnival games, or maybe enjoy a fun game of bingo with Joanie and her crew. Visit with Jessica and bid on our students’ amazing class baskets. Emily and Missy will welcome you with several delightful tables filled with beautiful silent auction items. Hayven and Cody will have their fun prize table ready for you to visit. Harvest foods will be served hot and ready for your convenience. Tasty tri tip, linguica, hot dogs, nachos, and lots of special treats for all to enjoy will be available. Freshly made hot buttery popcorn, cotton candy and a sno cone booth will welcome you all. Don’t forget about the very special K-Arrow Beef Raffle; tickets are $20 each for a drawing of a quarter of beef; cut up and wrapped. Our students are selling these tickets to benefit the sixth, seventh and eighth graders’ Washington DC trip. The drawing will be held Harvest Festival Night. Come and enjoy an amazing petting zoo with Sierra 4-H; what fun it’s going to be. Next week we will share the creepy highlights of our Spooktacular Haunted Hay Ride. It will run from 7:30 pm to 9 pm.

As the Haunted Hay Ride and driver Thomas take you through the deep dark, pitch black forest ... Agony Badbones and his evil Skeleton brother Luther D. Hannibal will reach out for you … more information to come next week.
