Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27, road work on Maag Avenue and E Street in Oakdale will see some traffic detours and road closures.

The slurry seal project is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and will impact Maag Avenue between J and G streets and E Street between North Fifth Avenue and North Yosemite Avenue.

As scheduled, work on Friday, June 26 will be on E Street between Yosemite and Fifth Avenue and on Maag Avenue between East J Street and Jubal Court.

On Saturday, June 27, work is planned on Maag Avenue between Jubal Court and East G Street.

City officials said during construction, expect delays. It is advised to use alternate routes while the slurry seal work is being done. However, if you must use this route, you are advised to allow extra time to reach your destination.
