Cub Scout Pack 365 and Troop 365, Oakdale, will be canvassing neighborhoods in in the community this November, with hopes of collecting 5,500 pounds of non-perishable food items. All donations will go to Oakdale Community Sharing Christian Center to help local families in need. Scouts dropped off bags on Saturday, Nov. 12 and will return for pick-up on Saturday, Nov. 19. Here, they pose with some of the items collected during last year’s drive. Neighborhoods being canvassed this year are River Avenue, behind Gold Dust Pizza; Burchell Hill, Bridle Ridge and The Vineyard. Any businesses that would like to participate can get a bag dropped off to fill by sending an email to familypack365@gmail.com.
