Safe Kids Stanislaus Water Safety Event

A Water Safety Education and Lifejacket Giveaway is scheduled this coming weekend.

Safe Kids Stanislaus, led by Doctors Medical Center, is hosting a water safety event on Saturday, Aug. 18 at Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale. There will be lots of water safety education and tips, as well as free CPR lessons. In addition, officials will be handing out free lifejackets for low-income children under 18 years of age.

The event is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18 at Woodward Reservoir, 14528 26-Mile Road in Oakdale, in the main boat ramp parking lot.
