SUNDAY, AUG. 9
2:53 a.m. – Deputies stopped a vehicle at Oakdale and Morrill. One adult male in the vehicle had a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
3:59 a.m. – Theft investigated by deputies at Save Mart.
4:49 a.m. – Family fight investigation in the 5900 block of Chancellor.
10:59 a.m. – Deputies investigated an assault in the 2600 block of Topeka.
3:49 p.m. – Investigation into a possible sexual assault in the 2000 block of Claribel.
7:40 p.m. – Family fight investigation in the 2500 block of Channel.
8:01 p.m. – Theft investigation at Target. The total loss was approximately $100.
9:07 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family fight in the 2200 block of Cherry Tree. One adult female was arrested for domestic violence. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
SATURDAY, AUG. 8
1:37 p.m. – Report of a non-injury hit and run vehicle collision in the 2500 block of Patterson Road.
3:22 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a subject down in an alleyway in the 2600 block of Ross Avenue. The male was found unresponsive and medical personnel attempted lifesaving efforts. The adult male was ultimately pronounced deceased. There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office personnel responded to the scene and took custody of the decedent.
6:59 p.m. – Report of a non-injury vehicle collision at Patterson Road and First Street. When deputies arrived, all parties had already exchanged information, and no law enforcement action was needed.
FRIDAY, AUG. 7
2:01 a.m. – Deputies investigated a report of possible child abuse in the 6300 block of Rock Creek Road. The investigation revealed the allegations were unfounded and the incident was documented.
10:15 a.m. – Theft investigation by deputies at Home Depot. Two adult males were arrested for shoplifting. Both were found to have no criminal history and were released with a citation.
10:23 a.m. – Deputies investigated a theft in the 2600 block of Patterson Road.
7:54 p.m. – Family disturbance reported in the 6700 block of Second Street.
THURSDAY, AUG. 6
10:07 a.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Home Depot.
12:34 p.m. – Report of a disturbance in the 2600 block of Santa Fe Street. The incident resulted in an assault investigation. The case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
3:20 p.m. – Deputies investigated a family disturbance in the 2600 block of Ward Avenue.
5:41 p.m. – Family disturbance investigated by deputies in the 7000 block of St. Lakes Court. The investigation revealed a court order violation. The case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
8:58 p.m. – Traffic stop conducted by deputies on a motorcycle driving recklessly near Patterson Road and Oakdale Road. The driver was cited for reckless driving and his motorcycle was towed.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 5
12:41 p.m. – Deputies investigated a theft at Target.
6:06 p.m. – Contact made by deputies with a female at Pioneer Park. The adult female was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
OTHER HIGHLIGHTS:
On Aug. 4, Riverbank Police Services staff hosted National Night Out at Silva Park. Multiple specialty team vehicles and personnel were there and approximately 30 businesses participated with booths and items for the community.
