Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 12-8-21

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Nov. 30 through Monday, Dec. 6. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

MONDAY, DEC. 6

Crews conducted engineer training.

7:55 a.m. – Modesto Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident on 26-Mile Road, north of Woodward Reservoir. Two vehicles were involved with one occupant transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

 

SUNDAY, DEC. 5

Engine 29 participated in the Knights Ferry Christmas Parade.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 4

Crews conducted training on Highrise and standpipe operations.

12:56 p.m. – Modesto Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident at Highway 108 and Wamble Road. Crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles involved. One occupant was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. CHP is investigating.

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 3

2 p.m. – Modesto Engine 27 and Engine 28 trained with personnel who will be taking the upcoming engineers test. Crews trained on rural water supply delivery and pumping evolutions.
