Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 1-12-22

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Jan. 4 through Monday, Jan. 10. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

THURSDAY, JAN. 6

No time listed – Engine 10 assisted with the academy training in Knights Ferry.

 

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 5

8 a.m. – Engine 29 and E10 assisted with the fire academy trainees in Knights Ferry on wildland tactics. Firefighters trained on various components of wildland firefighting.

No time listed – Multiple companies participated in training at the RFTC (training center) in preparation of the upcoming Engineer’s exam.

 

TUESDAY, JAN. 4

5:46 p.m. – Engine 28. Engine 27 and Battalion Chief 5 responded to a motor vehicle accident at Claribel and Albers Road. Engine 28 arrived to find four vehicles involved and began to check for injuries with ambulance. All occupants were out of the vehicles; the accident was classified as non-injury and CHP was investigating.
