On April 8, 2019, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department recovered the body of Beranea Moreno Sanchez in the trunk of her own vehicle. The vehicle had been left at the side of Milton Road south of Highway 4 in the rural area of Farmington. The victim was tracked back to her boyfriend’s residence in the City of Stockton. A crime scene was located inside of that residence. An autopsy determined that Sanchez was the victim of a brutal domestic violence homicide.

Sheriff’s Department officials are now looking for the public’s help in locating three suspects.

A lot of evidence has been gathered with the assistance of multiple tips called in by the public and associates of the people involved. As a result of the evidence gathered there are currently three arrest warrants issued in the investigation. One for Jose Manuel Gonzalez Silva, 30, out of Stockton for a charge of murder; Manuel Gonzales, 53, out of Stockton for accessory and conspiracy; and Ana Maria Miramontes De Ramirez, 53, out of Stockton for accessory and conspiracy. There is also a 1997 red Ford Expedition, CA license 4XUN330, with rear driver’s side damage that investigators are attempting to locate. It was last seen traveling east on Highway 4 towards the area where the victim’s vehicle was discovered on April 6, 2019.
