Mustang football will truly be played under the lights this Friday, Sept. 1. Oakdale’s home game against El Capitan has been rescheduled for later in the evening. Normally kicking off at 5 p.m. the junior varsity will now play its home game at 6 p.m. with the varsity to follow. Both the Mustang junior varsity and varsity teams were victorious in their week zero showdown against Sonora on the road. This will be the first time the Mustangs take the new look field at The Corral following its remodel over the summer.
Cross country, which had an invitational meet scheduled on Thursday at Eagal Lakes in Tracy was cancelled Thursday because of the heat and air quality.
