Waterline Work Reaches Third Phase
Cone

Phase 3 in the City of Oakdale’s East “C” Street Waterline Project has begun, and that once again means closure of some roads and detours around the area.

Rolfe Construction sent out notification of the impending work recently, and the project has now entered its third phase. Work is anticipated to continue through Oct. 21, barring any unforeseen delays, said officials.

During this phase of the project, C Street will have limited access and will be closed from Yosemite Avenue to First Avenue to thru traffic; access to residents, however, will be maintained. There will be no parking on the street within the work zone. Traffic is being detoured around the work area as needed to complete the necessary work. Closures will be kept as short as possible to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

“Rolfe Construction, in partnership with the City of Oakdale, is committed to completing this project in a safe and timely manner,” construction officials wrote in their letter to residents. “Every effort will be made to minimize the impacts to your property during construction.”

Those with questions or concerns about the project are asked to contact Rolfe Construction or the City of Oakdale Project Engineer. For Rolfe Construction, call (209) 358-5548 and for MCR Engineering, call (209) 239-6229.

The city and construction firm also issued a joint statement: “We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and cooperation during the construction of this project.”
