Traffic Impacts Due On Highway 99

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction and maintenance activities on State Route 99 (SR-99) from French Camp Road to SR-4/Crosstown Freeway. No two consecutive ramps will close at the same time.

Work will occur as follows: The southbound on-ramp from French Camp Road to SR-99 is closed and scheduled to reopen June 2014; The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on northbound SR-99 from Arch Road to SR-4/Crosstown Freeway will alternately close beginning Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.; The #1 (left) and #2 (right) lanes on southbound SR-99 from Mariposa Road to Arch Road will alternately close beginning Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.; The on and off-ramps on southbound SR-99 at SR-4 East/Farmington Road will close beginning Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
