Recognized for their contributions to the Oakdale Mustang baseball program recently were seniors, from left, Griffin Costa, Bas Stice, Crew Baza, Rex Silva, Evan Criswell, Gavin Wyatt, Eric Velazquez, Brayden Avila, Niki Jones, and Landon Schutte. The recognition came during the Spring Break week at school, when Oakdale was hosting its annual Mark Dickens Tournament. The varsity Mustangs made the most of that opportunity, defeating all three teams they faced to take the tournament title. Oakdale won by a 12-2 final over Buhach Colony on April 7, were 14-6 winners over Escalon on April 8 and closed out the tournament with a solid 6-1 victory over Enochs in an April 9 contest.
