Edward Anthony Rocha Jr. passed away on March 26, 2026, in Modesto, CA (resident of 63 years) at the age of 71. Edward was born on September 18, 1954, in Modesto, CA, to parents, Ed Rocha Sr. and Irene Rocha. He was married to Sheri Rocha for 17 wonderful years. Edward enjoyed playing golf and bowling and loved attending concerts and going to Giants games. He was a San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan and truly enjoyed everything to do with sports.

Edward was a loving husband, father, son, and grandfather and will be truly missed. He loved all his children very much. Edward is survived by his wife, Sheri Rocha; his children, Jeremy Rocha (Modesto), Anthony Rocha (Sonora), Chris Comly (Merced), and Aaron Rocha (Oakdale); his father, Ed Rocha Sr., and stepmother, Carol Rocha (Oakdale); his brothers, Michael Rocha (Modesto) and Doug Rocha (Oakdale); his 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Rocha, and his brother, Steve Rocha, and sister, Stephanie Dunn.

There is a Mass scheduled at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1225 Olive St., Oakdale, CA) on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Stanislaus or Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (Pacific Grove, CA).
