TIME TO GIVE
OAK BLOOD 11-15

Oakdale Police Department Lt. Joe Carrillo smiles along with Geri Hernandez of the American Red Cross as they encourage donor Alyssa Heinz of Oakdale during the recent community blood drive hosted at the city’s Gene Bianchi Community Center. Carrillo shows Heinz he already made his donation; Heinz said this was her second time donating. Hernandez said it was an “awesome” blood drive, with a goal of 24 pints of blood and the actual collection of 39, which can help save the lives of up to 117 people.
