Stanislaus State Honors Rodriguez As 2019 American Dream Champion

Stanislaus State will recognize El Concilio President/CEO Jose R. Rodriguez as the 2019 Champions of the American Dream honoree. The annual event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Snider Recital Hall on the Stan State campus, and is free and open to the public. Champions of the American Dream is hosted by the College of Business Administration in partnership with Prime Shine Car Wash and the Porges Family Foundation. It honors the entrepreneurial and community spirit of innovation leaders from the Central Valley.

Other items of interest included in the latest Stanislaus State Datebook focus on transfer students and the college ranking.

Stan State’s success in attracting and graduating students who begin their higher education journeys at other colleges has been recognized by MONEY magazine, the most recent issue of Datebook notes, which placed the University No. 26 on its list of “Best Colleges for Transfer Students.”

Also, Washington Monthly ranks Stan State the No. 1 “Bang for the Buck” college in the West.
