Beginning on Saturday, April 1, water levels on the Stanislaus River will increase rapidly for required spring fish flows. The Oakdale Irrigation District provided information that shows releases from Goodwin Dam will increase daily.

The river is currently at 300 CFS (cubic feet per second) but on April 1 it will increase to 400 CFS, go up to 750 CFS on April 2, then to 1,000 CFS on April 3, and continue increasing daily until Saturday, April 7 when it will reach 2,000 CFS.
