American Veterans First is hosting its chili cook-off for another year, with the second annual fundraising event scheduled for Saturday, March 10.

Deadline to register is Friday, March 2. To sign up, contact Diane Talbert at 209-863-9965 or email her at dianetalbert@att.net.

There is a $10 per team chili entry and all proceeds support American Veterans First programs and activities for veterans. For those that don’t want to compete but do want to taste, tickets will be available for $5 for unlimited tasting.

The cook-off and tasting will be done at New Life Community Church, 6443 Estelle Ave., Riverbank.

Set up by the participating individuals and/or teams will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10 with the cook-off scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Awards will be presented to first, second and third places as well as for the ‘best overall’ chili.
