Not always typical for April, the ‘flooded’ signs had to be put out in several locations around Oakdale during a two-day, two-inch ‘Pineapple Express’ rain storm that brought the wet weather to the region starting late Thursday and continuing in to early Saturday. Though the rain was much needed, it played havoc with some Spring Break sporting events and planned family activities as Friday was a total washout. It wasn’t quite enough, though, to bring the area to its normal rainfall for the year.
