SAVE THE DATE – Saturday, April 15, 2017

ANNUAL KIDS SPRING FEST 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Join the fun at this annual event which includes egg hunt, games, DJ, face painting, free hot dogs. Co-sponsored with Kiwanis Club of Oakdale. Location: Kerr Park end of North Stearns Road.


Tuesday, March 14th – Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting - 5:00 p.m. City Council Chambers, 277 North Second Avenue.


Tuesday, March 21st – Senior Citizen Advisory Commission Meeting - 2:00 p.m. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.


Tuesday, March 21st – Community Band and Singing Seniors Concert 6:30 p.m.

Free to the public, donations appreciated for OHS Senior Scholarships. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.


Sunday, March 26th – Line Dancing Fun Sunday 1:00 p.m. Kick up your heels and join other dancers for a day of line dancing and fun. Admission $7.00; bring comfortable shoes and a snack. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.


Tuesday Evenings – Oakdale Community Band Rehearsals – 6:30 p.m. Pick up your instrument, dust it off and get ready to play! There are no auditions for this band, come on down to the Senior Center Tuesday nights to rehearse. Fee $10 per year. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.


Thursday Evenings – Line Dancing.  Intro to Line Dancing/Beginners - 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Line Dancing for intermediate dancers 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. These classes are continuous programs that can be joined anytime with the purchase of a punch card. $30.00 for a 6 class punch card. All classes are at the Gladys Lemmons Senior Community Center.

Monday Afternoons - Alzheimer/Dementia Educational and Support Group 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday Mornings – Young at Heart Aerobics Class 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is an active class that helps to strengthen the heart and lungs, improve endurance, flexibility and strength. Start your new year right by coming to the class and having fun.
