Community Programs

Tuesday, November 14th – Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting - 5:00 p.m. City Council Chambers, 277 North Second Avenue.

 

Monday, November 20th – Unveiling of the new tile wall for the Emma and Alex Playpark (located in Dorada Park by the swimming pool).

 

Tuesday, November 21st – Senior Citizen Advisory Commission Meeting - 2:00 p.m. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

 

Sunday, November 26th – Line Dancing Fun Sunday 1:00 p.m. Kick up your heels and join other dancers for a day of line dancing and fun. Admission $7; bring comfortable shoes and a snack. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

 

Tuesday Evenings – Oakdale Community Band Rehearsals – 6:30 p.m. Pick up your instrument, dust it off and get ready to play! There are no auditions for this band, come on down to the Senior Center Tuesday nights to rehearse. Fee $10 per year. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

 

Thursday Evenings – Line Dancing. Intro to Line Dancing/Beginners - 5:30 p.m. –7:30 p.m. No class November 23rd. These classes are continuous programs that can be joined anytime with the purchase of a punch card. $30 for a 6 class punch card. Gladys Lemmons Senior Center 450 East A Street.

Thursday, November 9th – Green Bag Program – 11 a.m. Healthy eating presentation and free fruits and vegetables. For Seniors 60+ who meet income requirements.
