OUHS Reunion Celebrates 125 Years Over Three Days
OHS Mustangs

A 125th Reunion Celebration is currently being planned for Oakdale High School Alumni. The OUHS (Oakdale Union High School) Reunion event is being planned for Oct. 11 through Oct. 13, 2018. Committee members are currently seeking former class reunion organizers to aid with reaching alum.

The three-day celebration will include: an Oakdale Museum Open House, 125th OUHS Homecoming Parade, homecoming football, an OHS campus tour and a reunion party on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Oakdale Golf and Country Club.

“It’s just renewed friendships and if they visit, they’ll see the monumental change as it’s come along,” committee member and OUHS Class of ‘52 alum Carol (Griesner) Davis said of seeing the current school facility.

According to Davis the current committee of ten is busy trying to spread the word to solicit interest as well as attendance.

“We’re trying to reach the head of class reunions for each year, so they can reach their classmates,” she said.

The committee is in need of addresses and contact information from past alum to mail information to those interested.

The reunion party will host space for a maximum of 600 people. Advance ticket purchase is highly encouraged. Tickets are $65 per person for the dinner/reunion at the country club, which includes two drink tickets, or $600 for a table of 10. Persons with classmate contact information or interested in further information may contact Davis at (209) 881-3217 or Cheryl Bairos at (209) 496-1134.
