Mustang Homecoming Week Festivities Set

Oakdale High School students got Homecoming Week off to a proper start with the traditional window painting hosted at the center of town this past Saturday and Sunday. “Five Days around the World,” is the theme that has been chosen by this year’s OHS Leadership group for the Homecoming festivities.

Theme dress days are being hosted throughout the week. The ever popular Powder Puff football will be played this evening, Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Corral at 7 p.m. Prince and King crowning will be held at halftime. Friday, Oct. 9 the class members will show their spirit during the Homecoming Parade, which will travel along West F Street, down Third and back to the school along G Street. The parade it set to begin at 1:45 p.m.

The Oakdale Varsity Mustangs football team will host Lathrop at the Corral at 7 p.m. for the Homecoming game. The 2015 Princess and Queen will be crowned during halftime. Homecoming dance to follow.
