Memories Made During Historic Church Move

ASTRO Gift and Thrift shop keepers Barbara Vasko and Louise Sanders, left, presented owners Allen and Paula Martin with a bottle of champagne for a ceremonial bon voyage, as Realtor Denise Cash and Oakdale City Manager Bryan Whitemyer joined in on the festivities.

 

It was quite the production this week, as the church, bell and steeple from the historic 1890’s building were moved from the original North Third and East E Street location to a new home. Here are some photos from the proceedings.
