Finding the time to fill one’s pantry, cupboards or refrigerator has been made a little easier, thanks to the addition of the eCart service at the Raley’s store in Oakdale.

The new service was added to the local location earlier this fall. A service, new to the area but not to the company, the East F Street, Oakdale location is now one of 75 stores chain wide offering this to their customers. Expansion of the service is expected to continue as well.

“Our hope is that this might encourage new customers to try the service, because you don’t have to live next to Raley’s to stop by on your way home to pick up your groceries, while saving time and having our team do the shopping for you,” Chelsea Minor, Director, Public Relations and Public Affairs said.

Raley’s eCart service enables customers to shop on-line from the comfort of their home, office or remote location via the Raley’s app. Customers select the location, as well as pick-up time and the Raley’s team doesn’t just do the work, but delivers the order to the customer’s car at a designated time.

“The service saves your lists,” Minor said, “so with each order it gets easier to select your favorites.”

According to Minor customers new to eCart do not pay a fee for their first three orders. There is no service fee for orders $150 or higher and orders placed below this pay a fee of $5.95.

“We started eCart roughly four years ago,” Minor said. “Our customers are responding favorably to the service. Most new customers come from referrals.”

The eCart service is viewed as ideal for the customer seeking quality food and short on time. The convenience is the key.
