Local service organization Soroptimist International of Oakdale is accepting applications for its annual Live Your Dream Award.

Each year, the program provides cash grants to head-of-household women so they can achieve their career goals by completing their education or job training.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. Soroptimist International of Oakdale will award one $1,000 cash award.
