Human Trafficking Seminar Scheduled

The Oakdale Police Department and Center for Human Services is hosting a ‘Stop Human Trafficking’ seminar on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The event is scheduled at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Speakers are scheduled to include Debbie Johnson, CEO, Without Permission; Investigator Tim Redd, Turlock Police; Detective Don Stilwell, Oakdale Police.

All are invited to attend the event to learn about how Human Trafficking can impact communities and how you can better safeguard your child on social media.

 

The discussion will cover information that may not be suitable for children under 12 years of age. Attendance by teenagers is encouraged.
