Harder Hosting Series Of Town Hall Sessions

Congressional candidate Josh Harder, CA-10, is hosting multiple Town Halls for voters in August. These will be opportunities for area residents to hear Harder’s thoughts on healthcare, jobs and immigration reform, as well as share their ideas and concerns on the Central Valley issues that are important to them.

Following are the dates and times for the upcoming meetings in August.

 

Assyrian Town Hall, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Assyrian American Civic Club, 2618 N. Golden State Blvd, Turlock; Harder invites the Assyrian Community to share their ideas and concerns.

 

Modesto Town Hall with Modesto City Council Member Jenny Kenoyer and Poet Laureate Sam Pierstorff, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Season’s Event Center, 945 McHenry Ave, Modesto. Harder, Kenoyer and Pierstorff will discuss important federal issues with the community. Kenoyer and Pierstorff will open the meeting and Harder will follow with his vision for CA 10 if elected. A Question and Answer session will follow for attendees.

 

Senior Town Hall, Wednesday, Aug. 22, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 4842 Nutcracker Lane, Modesto. Area seniors are urged to come share their ideas and concerns about Social Security and Medicare and all other policies and programs important to them. Light refreshments will be provided.

 

Healthcare Town Hall, Wednesday, Aug. 29, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., those in the healthcare industry are encouraged to come talk about issues local to the Central Valley.
