Lee Lundrigan, Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder and Registrar of Voters reports candidates interested in running for local office during the Nov. 5, 2013 Consolidated District Election may apply during the filing period which will open and run from Monday, July 15 through Friday, Aug. 9, 2013. Candidates, including incumbents must file nomination documents during this period in order to file for office and appear on the ballot.

Local offices up for election include the following districts: Oakdale Joint Unified School District, Oakdale Irrigation District, Riverbank Unified School District, Valley Home Joint School District, Valley Home Municipal Advisory Council, Knights Ferry School District, Knights Ferry Community Services District, and Knights Ferry Municipal Advisory Council.

A list of offices up for election will be released upon receipt of notification from all applicable districts. The election will include municipal elections for the Cities of Ceres and Modesto as well as various school and special districts.
