The grand opening celebration for the new Oakdale Visitors Center, hosted through the Oakdale Tourism and Visitors Bureau, was staged on Wednesday evening, March 13 at the River Road Plaza location. Along with a ribbon cutting, there was plenty of food and beverages for all to enjoy, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and an informative video highlighting many Oakdale locations. The center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
