The Big Dipper wants to say “thank you” to the community members for their support over the past year. Festivities will include: Bubbles, balloons, coloring contest with giveaways, face-painting, new artisan ice pops with seasonal fresh fruit and a book reading by author Wilson Farrar, who will tell tales about real-life 30 year-old rescue horse, “Scooter” and read from her newly published children’s book about the horse. (Scooter will even have his own ice-cream flavor for the occasion.) Kids can color, have their photos taken with a Scooter cut-out, and make a wish in his wishing well.
