Escalon Golf, in commemoration of its 35th Anniversary, is presenting a $50,000 Hole-In-One Shoot-Out on Sunday, May 17.
The special shoot-out event will be staged at Escalon Golf Course, 17051 Escalon Bellota Road.
Pre-qualifying is scheduled for Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Final Shoot-Out Date is Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m.
To pre-qualify and be one of the 10 lucky finalists to shoot for the Hole-In-One on Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m., you must be one of the final 10 at the end of the pre-qualifying period to have hit a golf ball closest to the hole. If more than one of your balls is closest to the hole at the completion of the pre-qualifying period only one will be counted. Pre-qualifying yardage will be 125 yards. You may hit as many golf balls as you want on any or all of the pre-qualifying days and times. The cost to participate is: one ball for $2, three balls for $5, 12 balls for $10 and 25 balls for $20.
Ten pre-qualified golfers will each get one shot at making a 135-yard Hole-In-One during the Sunday competition. If a 135-yard Hole-In-One is made by any of the 10 pre-qualified contestants, the prize is $50,000.
Participants must be an amateur golfer to be eligible. There are no age or gender restrictions.
