Mark the calendar for Tuesday, October 31 – Halloween – and plan to join in the festivities as the community’s annual Halloween Parade and Festival will be staged by the City of Oakdale, co-sponsored by Oakdale Kiwanis.
Running from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Halloween, the event will start with a costume parade, with participants lining up at the Youth Building, 295 Gilbert Ave., for a stroll eastward along G Street to the Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., off G Street.
Once arriving at the Community Center, there will be a free hot dog dinner for all, games, music, popcorn and more.
Festivities are open to all in the community.
